Goals As Sheriff

  • Be present and lead by example.
  • Utilize tools and training available to proactively fight the war on heroin.
  • Restore department morale and increase deputy productivity.
  • Stop unnecessary lawsuits coming from the jail.
  • Stop spending hundreds of thousands in legal fees fighting the union and negotiate a fair contract with deputies.
  • Stop the games, bullying and fear tactics coming from department leadership and lead by example.
  • Produce better budgetary and policing results for the citizens of Grundy County.
